NCHO will offer up to (2) two scholarships per year to cover registration coast at the annual SEAHO conference. The scholarships are intended to make conference attendance more financially viable for housing professionals from the state of North Carolina. Our hope, is to have the recipient(s) share what they have learned from the conference with others at their institution and around the state.

ACUHO-I’s largest event, the Annual Conference & Exposition brings together campus housing professionals from around the globe for four days of invigorating speakers, engaging educational sessions, and invaluable networking opportunities.
The conference will take place June 17-20, 2017 in Providence, Rhode Island at the Rhode Island Convention Center. Registration is now open! Early registration discounts end February 15.

Regional Entry Level Institute (RELI)
The Regional Entry Level Institute (RELI) is an intensive professional development experience for entry-level professionals who aspire to mid-level positions in housing and residence life. RELI is open to housing/residence life professionals with one to three years of experience. Participants are clustered with other participants and a faculty member who is a mid- to senior-level professional. In an effort to maintain the mentoring environment and ensure faculty/participant engagement, only 32 participants are selected per year.
NCHO offers as many as three (3) scholarships for the RELI program each year. The 2017 scholarship will go live on April 11th, 2017. We will attempt to email all applicants selected from North Carolina directly, but individual notification cannot be guaranteed. The application link will be live from this site when available.
James C. Grimm National Housing Training Institute (NHTI)
NHTI provides a thorough and intensive professional development experience for professionals with three to seven years of full-time experience who are looking to further their careers in housing. Participants meet and interact with other colleagues, establish mentor relationships with experts in the field, create professional development plans, and gain skills and competencies needed to meet the current and future demands of the profession.
NCHO will offer one (1) scholarship of up to $500 to help with attending NHTI. (Current cost is $1500 + transportation). The 2017 scholarship will go live on April 11th, 2017.
